Dan Ostergaard is founder, CEO of HonestyPledge GmbH, which leverages behavioral insights and technology to improve honesty online. He is also founder, CEO of The PolicyStore GmbH and co-founder of Trusty AG. Previously, he founded a responsible leadership consultancy, Integrity by Design, with dozens of Fortune 500 clients, and has guest lectured at several business schools, including Yale School of Management. Dan has written articles on responsible leadership and created the ‘Walk the Talk Matrix’ for assessing leaders’ performance on integrity. Dan has been featured in publications, such as Financial Times, CEO Magazine and Journal for Sustainable Banking. Earlier in his career, Dan had worldwide responsibility for Integrity at Novartis AG, and was Chairman of a leading European-wide association of integrity professionals. Dan holds a B.Sc. in Business & Law from Copenhagen Business School, an LLM from King’s College London, an MBA from Monterey Institute, and Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
